Sugar lovers and sweet tooths, unite! Candytopia, a Willy-Wonka-like traveling show, has now made its way across the country direct to Fashion District Philadelphia, the completely reinvented retail space that some will remember as the Gallery in downtown Philadelphia.

Candytopia describes itself as “a sprawling sanctuary of confectionary bliss,” and if the kids haven’t already reached their sugar limit, it’s a great place to get holiday visitors out of the house for a few hours. You can jump into a pit filled with 300,000 faux marshmallows, see a Liberty Bell made from gummies and licorice (or a LOVE statue constructed of heart-shaped candies, if you prefer) and be showered in confetti by candy-coated unicorn pigs. The immersive experience offers epic playgrounds, a treehouse, and interactive displays and games for kids of all ages. You’ll feel like a kid in a candy store, guaranteed.

Tickets run $28 for adults, $20 for kids age 4-12, and children under 3 are admitted free. It’s a traveling exhibit, so it’s at Fashion District Philadelphia only until January 5, 2020. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 8:30 pm and Sundays from 11-8:30 – it’s important you purchase tickets online in advance, as tickets are not available at the door. If you’re looking for something to do before or after, there’s a new AMC theater in the Fashion District Mall, and the Reading Terminal Market – full of one-of-a-kind shops and unique eateries — is just a few blocks up Market Street.
